The Psychedelic Furs dropped by Fantagraphics Bookstore on Saturday to stock up on records and
comix ahead of their set at the Showbox. It was amusing to hear Chicago-born saxophonist Mars Williams,
a Krazy Kat enthusiast, attempt to explain the decidedly American brickbat
humor of the strip to his British bandmates. October 2012.

Vince Mira was in the store today (5/20/11) with his brand new CD.
Check out the website of this popular new artist, then come in and buy the CD!!

Mark Pickerel was in store 12/11/10 for The Fantagraphics Bookstore and Gallery's 4th anniversary celebration.
Note that he is playing the kick drum with his heel and a tambourine with his other foot!

Zak Sally, cartoonist and member of Low was next on the bill for the anniversary show.

Terri Tarantula played an in-store show today, July 17th, 2010.
There was a drummer! I swear! Just a bad camera angle for him.

The opening act for Terri was Low Places, shown here.

Jini Delaccio visited on her 93rd birthday, 2/11/10.
She is the photographer who took the cover photos for many famous albums, including the Fabulous Wailers and The Sonics.

Vivian Girls visited today (4/30/09)

Mike McCready was a temporary employee today (11/13/08) ready to sell
the masses the fine vinyl you crave.
All in a day's work for the plucky lad.
You gotta start somewhere, I suppose.

Jeff Ament and Ben Shepherd
visited the fabulous Metal Typer today (12/11/08)!
So very much bass! Plus, check out those fine albums they grabbed, good taste all around.
