JIM WOODRING AND BILL FRISELL PERFORM "LAZY ROBINSON" ON SATURDAY, APRIL 28 AT
FANTAGRAPHICS BOOKSTORE & GALLERY

Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery is pleased to present "Lazy Robinson," a multimedia presentation
featuring projected imagery by Jim Woodring with musical accompaniment by Bill Frisell. This
exciting event takes place on Saturday, April 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and is free to the public of
all ages. Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery is located at 1201 S. Vale Street in the heart of
Seattle's creative Georgetown arts community.

"Lazy Robinson" complements Woodring's visionary exhibition "Seeing Things," on view through May 15
at Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery. His sensuous and sublime imagery will be brought to life
during this extraordinary interdisciplinary performance.
Fantagraphics Books has published many volumes of Woodring's work, including "The Book of Jim," "The Frank Book" (with an introduction by Francis Ford Coppola), and "Seeing Things," available in both hard and soft cover editions, in addition to assorted comic books and trade paperbacks currently in print.

Seattle based musician Bill Frisell has gained international acclaim as an improvisational musician,
composer and bandleader. His "Unspeakable" recording won the Grammy award in 2005 for Best
Contemporary Jazz Album. Throughout his illustrious career Frisell has collaborated with an
eclectic group of artists including Elvis Costello, John Zorn, Ginger Baker, Brian Eno, Marianne Faithfull,
The Los Angeles Philharmonic, Suzanne Vega, and filmmakers Gus Van Sant and Wim Wenders, among many others.

In 2002, Fantagraphics Books issued "Trosper," a CD and narrative story by Woodring and Frisell, which
will be available at the performance. The two artists were recently honored with the prestigious
United States Artists Fellowship for their collaborative efforts. For additional information on Jim
